123. Breeders' prizes

123.1 The recorded breeder of a horse which wins a race to which the Breeders' Prize Scheme applies qualifies to receive a Breeder's Prize payment if (and only if) the horse has been accepted for registration under the Breeders' Prize Scheme on an application made under Rule 124.
123.2 A horse which is accepted for registration under the Breeders' Prize Scheme in accordance with the qualifying conditions specified in Rule 124, is referred to in this Part as an Eligible Horse.
123.3 For the purposes of this Manual and the Breeders' Prize Scheme, the recorded breeder of a horse is the Person or entity recorded as such by the Stud Book Authority.
123.4 The current Breeders' Prize Scheme (including the amount of any payment) is set out in Schedule 10.
123.5 References in the following provisions to the Scheme are to the Breeders' Prize Scheme.
