Javascript

This site works best with a Javascript enabled browser. Javascript is used for loading a graphical calendar, some site images and other enhanced features throughout the site.

High contrast view

We have provided an alternative style sheet that enables you to view the web site in a high colour contrast if needed. To activate this, just click the 'High Contrast' text link in the footer of the site. To switch back to the standard view just click 'Default View' also located in the footer.

Access keys

Access keys are keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulties with pointing devices, such as a mouse. By using access keys you can jump to specific areas of a website or enable alternate stylesheets.

Within this site we have provided access keys for:

  • S - Skip to content
  • J - Default view
  • K - High contrast view

How to use access keys

Different browsers require slightly different key combinations to use an access key:

FireFox 2.0+ (PC)
Hold down the ALT, SHIFT key and press the number or letter of the access key.

FireFox 1.0.4 - FireFox 1.5 (PC)
Hold down the ALT key and press the number or letter of the access key.

FireFox 2.0+ (Mac)
Hold down the CTRL key and press the number or letter of the access key.

FireFox 1.0.4 - Firefox 1.5 (Mac)
Hold down the OPTION key and press the number or letter of the access key.

Internet Explorer 5+ (PC)
Hold down the ALT key, press the number or letter of the access key, release both keys then press ENTER.

Opera 8.0+ (PC & Mac)
Press Shift, Escape and then the number or letter of the access key.

Access keys are supported by the following web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 4+ (Windows), 5+ (Mac)
  • Opera 7 (Windows and Linux)

Enlarging the site's text

If you need to enlarge the size of the text please follow the instructions below according to the operating system and web browser you use.

PC

Internet Explorer: Go to "View" in your browser, then click "Text Size" and select the size you require from the drop down list.

Firefox: Go to "View" in your browser toolbar, and then choose "Text Size" "Increase/Decrease".

Mac

Firefox: Go to "View" in your browser toolbar, and then choose "Text Size" "Increase/Decrease".

Safari: Go to "View" in your browser toolbar and click "Make Text Bigger".
